SQL Server Best Practices Analyzer (BPA)
Posted By Bennett On 24. January 2008 @ 17:34 In Windows OS, SQL Server | No Comments
A new version of the SQL Server 2005 Best Practices Analyzer (BPA) is [1] here.
On a related note, the BPA reported several operating system issues that I was unaware of, including an issue where SQL Server’s working set gets paged to disk during large file copies. More info and a link to the Technet article discussing this issue can be found [2] here.
